Solid food and great beer list. I think in the area of 50 taps. Brilliant Belgian fries and beer cheese soup. Service was a bit offish at first but really warmed up well. Good location and great regional and world tap list. Must hit if in the area

Last stop of day one in Portland. I almost feel like I could cut and paste other reviews - outdoor seating, good service, good selection. Nice place.

Visited on a drizzly morning soon after the pub had just opened the doors for service. A few peeps already at the bar. Good selection of regional breweries, as well as their own house brews. Dude working the bar was really good, even racing back and forth to the back bar to pour glasses. A handy spot across from Cascade. Must be pumping here on a nice day.

Cool place near Cascade. Seems small and quite. There is a brewery side and two separate areas with taps. There is a cooler with beers. Servers are friendly and taplist is solid. Fun stop.

Yet another good beer spot in the general Hawthorne area. Was here for a small beer fest outside the pub. Stopped in for a few on our way out. Big open bar area with lots of seating. It was mostly empty due to the festival, but seemed big. Lots of locals on tap. We mainly tried their own Buckman line. Offered samplers. Cool place. Bartenders seemed to know their stuff.

Cool relaxed place. Lots of seating. They had maybe 5 of their own beer on tap. Small and large growlers to go. Loads of quality ’guest’ taps. I was frustrated a bit by the lack of information they had about their own beers and other ones on tap (ABV, style, real name). Bottles to go as well. Would be much better with some organization but still a good place.

Pllace gets chaotic. Indoors very warehouse like but the outdoor air is most pleasant. With so many beers to choose from would be nice to get a little more data, as well as a price. The selection is fairly great, especially outside of the Rogue products. The service is knowledgeable & friendly when you find one.

Stopped by early afternoon. Fairly empty. Decent service. Wasn’t too impressed with the beer line up but it was ok. Food was ok. Fries were good. Fish was ok.

(Visited 05/2013): Stopped at Green Dragon two days in a row, but primarily to attend the Rogue Firkin Fest. The brewpub is located on 9th and Belmont in the Buckman area of east Portland. Street parking is available in the surrounding area.

The interior is spacious and has several rooms. There is a large bar area and an adjacent room with more seating. In addition there is a smaller room in the back next to a garage where the Firkin Fest VIP session took place. Lastly there is an outdoor beer garden.

The beer selection consists of over 50 taps, including house beers (Green Dragon/Buckman)and lots from local and regional brewers like Cascade, Seven Brides, Rogue and Backwoods. Extensive bottle list too both domestics and imports.

Service during the festival and at the bar was good.

We did not have any food on our visit.

Overall this is a really good bar right by Cascade and near HOTD and fits in well with the great beer scene in the area.
