| Cybercat (93), Georgia | | August 1, 2011 This lively bar has several sections, as well as a variety of places to sit - at a bar, in a booth, at a table. They have an astonishing selection of beers from the Pacific Northwest, so if ever you are in Portland, this place should be on your To Do list. Waitstaff are helpful and well-trained, and will gladly assist in picking out some brews. I did not notice any macrobrewed swill, and I sure saw a lot of beers I wanted to try! Food is very tasty and not too spendy. There are plenty of TVs, but when I was there the sound was not on. | | savnac (155), Anchorage, Alaska | | July 13, 2011 Typical darkish Tavern with a fairly nice outdoor area. Service was just ok, and don’t expect the server to know much about beer. Selection was vast but mostly average beer, although there was a few gems in the list. Food was pretty good. Value was probably about average for the area. Overall a decent place but not a place I’d go out of my way to re-visit. | | JoeinEscazú (200), San Jose, Costa Rica | | July 8, 2011 Maybe a bit of a tourist trap near the hotels... In fact ours recommended it to us. For such a long beer list, there weren’t too many eye-openers, but surely there’s something for everyone there. Food was on the large and buttery side. Service was good enough. My suggestion would be to pop in to see the list and have a beer before eating in a serious restaurant (plenty of options downtown) and finishing the evening at Bailey’s. | | dchmela (96), Orlando, Florida | | March 26, 2011 Upscale style tavern in downtown. Had a nice lunch and couple of nice brews. They have a nice burger and beer lunch special, nice happy hour and good service. Would go again. | | DYCSoccer17 (244), Woodland, California | | July 21, 2010 Too many fucking "Bros" working at this place. They didn’t really know their beer, and many beers that they had on their list were not available on tap. Very loud, cavernous, dark place crowded with people. It was difficult to enjoy the beer. They had a decent selection, but I just had to get out of this place. | | rthbass (11), West Linn, Oregon | | May 31, 2010 Pretty good place. Obviously 100 taps is nothing to scoff at. Although the selection within said 100 isn’t the most varied. IPA, Strong Ale and Stout selection are good. Lagers, Porters and other light beers leave a little to be desired.
While the club-like atmosphere doesn’t appeal to me it may work well for others. Food is pretty good also. Beers can be slightly over priced but when it’s 1 of only 2-3 places that regularly stock Pliny, it’s kind of a must. | | lushawn (164), Boston, Massachusetts | | May 15, 2010 sheik place. eclectic crowd. kind of club like atmosphere. bunch of billiard tables on the top floor. outdoor seating was nice enough. waitress seemed clueless about the beers. solid selection though. Friends we were staying with brought us here for the happy hour food specials, which were good. | | kitschy (60), Nebraska | | February 5, 2010 Excellent happy hour food prices include california rolls and traditional bar food. Wide selection includes a good number of beers from the region. | | carruthm (26), Seattle, Washington | | December 15, 2009 Lots of taps and good selections. Service was attentive and prompt. Food was tasty, hamburger especially, and greatly priced during happy hour | | ckstanley (11), Vancouver, Washington | | November 16, 2009 Henry’s has by far the best beer selection in town as far as taps go. With over a hundred beer taps to choose from you may feel a bit overwhelmed choosing one for you. Unfortunately that is one of the only great things about this place. Far to often WAY OVERCROWDED, they need to go on a wait or stop seating, the great location causes definite over crowding.
If you go upstairs they have a great billiard area but they have a limited menu and you are only able to take advantage of a handful of the beers when dining in this area.
Overall a great concept, but executed poorly. |
