the big windows, wall of wine and firendly staff almost make me not see the institutional chairs and tables, the overwhelming rectangle of the place. fairly quiet, with jazz in the background, so good place for conversations. Excellent beer selection, though a little higher priced than other places. But this the only one where you can drink there and no extra charge for opening. The four taps are always tasty and hard to find, with a strong sierra nevada connection (including annual 4 year celebration tastings.) 10 wines by the glass, and good sandwiches, salads etc.
