OK, where to start to start on this place. Went there on a wet Sunday with my kids on the way back to the train station from the town centre. Hidden away in the cellar, no great indication there is a pub there when walking down the hill, a bit more obvious in the other direction. 13 taps, 13 taps serving Polish microbrews, 13!! Extremely helpful staff, Kreuzberg style décor, all mismatched sofas in a couple of different rooms. Polish prices!! 13 taps, not forgetting the fridges with Polish and international beers, some of the regulars, some more unusual. My 7 year old said it was the best bar she has ever been to. Berlin needs a place like this.........

Nicely tuck into a basement of an old tenant house in the busy centre of Poznan, Setka Pub draws crowds of young beer enthusiasts from the city. The selection is impressive for a pub in Poland; only bottle stores can compete with the place. The staff are very friendly and they readily offer their expertise. Most importantly, they are willing to host premieres for new beers and new brewers, thus offering the customers the very first experience of new local brews. I spent a wonderful evening there the other day, leaving with a strong resolution to come back whenever I am in Poznan again.
