Beer was excellent. For place it self I did not care much. Service was cold and did not acre much for us either. We were going to order food but decided not to and left.

2 Beers, a svetly that is over smelling sulfur, and a tmave that looks more like a polotmave in my book. Ambiance is good but is a little undermined by the rude service. Overall a "meh" place.

The tables were a bit uncomfortable. The brews weren’t much better and the service could be describe best by the word "lacking".

(Visited 04/2009): Novoměstský Pivovar (New Town Brewery) is located on Vodičkova toward the south-central part of the city, not too far from Wenceslas Square. Not sure about the parking situation but there appeared to be some street parking in the surrounding blocks. Fairly easy to find walking from the Danube port though. There is a small walkway leading to the brewpub that features some breweriana and menus. The interior has lots of wood, brick and plants and is split level. There is a small gift shop in front near the host stand where bottles can be purchased to go (which we did). The brewhouse offers a view of their brewing equipment as well. Service was good considering the language barrier. Novoměstský has only a couple of beers available both on draught and in bottles. Basically a "light" and a "dark". They also have a couple of guest taps from Stella Artois and Clausthaler. The beers are more or less average. We did not try any food on this visit, but looking at the menu it appeared to be mainly traditional Czech fare. Overall this place is worth seeking out on a visit to Prague.

Interesting lot of rooms and terraces. Service was ok for Prague. They were out of the dark beer this time. Generally, worth a stop, though there are many better spots in Prague.

This was probably my least favourite of the Prague brewpubs. It’s certainly conveniently located, but seemed to draw mostly tourists as no one but the waiters spoke any Czech. Service was more disinterested than elsewhere. Moreover, the beers were among the blandest I’ve had from a Czech brewpub. We have not eaten. Poor experience.

Like other have mentioned, this place is the typical tourist trap. Poor, unfriendly service overall. Eating is expected if you wish to enter, no bar to taste the brews only. Waiters like to mix tables’ orders together to cause confusion, possibly for overbilling. Not much good I can say about the place, not the worst, but not the hangout location for sure.

And yet another tourist trap/maze in Prague with appropriate service. Not the best beers in Prague too. In for the beers, out as soon as I rated them.

We were not allowed to taste and just drink beer if we didnt ordered food. Rather Rude and arrogant service. The 2 beers are however very nice and of course unfiltered. Non smoking place. Like most of the other beer places in Prague the waitors didnt know anything about the beer.

All tables were engaged or resered when I entered the room at 10.30 a.m.. It opened at 10.00. I was, however, allot to sit at one of the reserved tables as I only wanted to try their 2 beers. No smoking. Silent. Beer came quickly. Not exceptionel but OK. Staff seemed indifferent and more interested in preparing the tables for the reserved tables than actually servicing the people present. Mirrors made the room loog bigger. Long benches and tables. Dark cool room. Looked old. There was alse a terresse, unfortunately closed when I was there.
