Really a good place to go a little outside the city centre. Good service, nice and cozy place with 5-6 rooms to sit in plus the outside garden which was great. Today they had 16-17 beers on tap, mostly Czech. Some varieties of Ales and lager of course. They also have good selection in bottles. Prices are good for both tap and bottles, example 0.3L cost from 1.3 euro to 2 euro on tap. A must to see in Prague.

Place was almost full so we had to sit right next to the entrance. Turns out there is a nice looking restaurant downstairs. Lively and noisy atmosphere. We ordered some food, which was very basic but came in huge quantities. Beer selection is great, we had quite a number of local brews. Staff was busy but quick to replace your beer. Prices were, like most Prague venues outside the tourist area, awesome to this Dutchman.

A must visit for their vast selection of Czech and some German/Belgian/American beers. Mistly Czech in tap. I visited twice on a recent visit. Once at night for a couple of beers and once for a looong beery lunch with the infamous Pivni Filosof. Food was filling and tasty. Service was very attentive. Both times I sat outside under the covered seating. Larger rooms downstairs and more taps too. Second best selection after Zly Casy, but it’s close. Loved it!

The beer garden area looked closed during my visit, so I had to sit in the restaurant downstairs. The beers on tap were interesting with quite a few craft Czech beers I hadn’t seen before though the prices were a little expensive for Prague. The beer list at the bar shows a bunch of info about each beer but unfortunately the chalkboards inside the restaurant only list the beer names, so I had to go to the bar whenever I wanted to order another beer. I ate some pork ribs which were big and tender but not that flavorful. The inside of the restaurant is very old school to put it kindly. Very old and rickety tables and chairs with the paint peeling off. Overall, a decent spot to drink some Czech craft.

This place was a great find while visiting Prague. With only one night left in town...we took the chance of getting in on a Friday evening. Although the place was booked...when they realized we only had the one chance to eat here...they accomodated us in the outside garden...of course it helped that my 85 year old mom was traveling with me...lol! But definitely kudos to the staff for accomodating us! The craft beer selection was extremely good. They only had .5l pours...but I said...what the heck...I’m on vacation...and tried maybe 6 of them (didn’t finish all of each...but still worth it to sample local Czech craft beers). Last but not least...the food here is "great" and be forewarned... large portions. Don’t miss this place when in Prague!

Great find in prague. Lovely place and the staff very welcoming and nice, not something you see every day here. Food was great and there were some very nice local beers on tap. Had one world class pale ale, who knew czech had such good craft brewerys, i certainly didnt. Great surprice!. They also have both local beers and import, lots of brewdog for example that is possible to buy and take home at a very good price. Will come back soon

Self service. Service at the bar was good and friendly. They had great beers on tap. The food was excellent too. Ambiance wasn’t so special, but still a great place. It was crowded. Prices were fine.

Visited July 2012. This is a place, you can easily miss, when you walk by. Narrow door leading down a hallway. But then there is plenty of seats both outside and inside. Pretty crowded when we visited in the evening for dinner. Must see.
