Nice little Café near the University. Ambiance is usually good and not too loud. Service is ok, but they usually know nothing about beer. They have a decent selection of Québec micros and some Belgians imports. They used to have some Cantillon at a really reasonable price, but there’s not much at the moment. Food is good. Price good too. Nice place.

Nice little place, near the university. Waitresses were quick and helpful. Beers available were great - one of the best selection of private imports I’ve seen in this city. Prices were fair. Food was alright, although the selection, I feel, was lackluster. I’m definitely going back.

Nice little café in the western end (Ste-Foy) of Quebec City. On the same street as another beer place, Cactus resto-bar. The ambiance here is much quieter and less douchy. Music is good, they have a nice selection of quebec micro bottles at reasonable prices, some micro taps (unibroue blonde & blanche de chambly adieu du ciel rosée d’hibiscus permanently on tap with some other more macro offerings and 1 seasonal tap). They also have a small selection of good belgian imports including cantillon iris for a very reasonable price. Probably the only place in this city you can buy a bottle of high end lambic when you really need a fix. Food is not outstanding but definitely good and decent value. I like hanging out here, especially with non beer-geeks (who wouldn’t necessarily appreciate le Bateau de Nuit).
