One of Quebec city’s good beer stores. Out in an ugly industrial part of town, but conveniently located near major highways. Great selection, good clean store. A bit on the pricey side of things, you can get very good service from the staff though.

Really neat place, the staff are SUPER friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable. Everyone I dealt with spoke English too. They’ve a really good selection however it’s a little pricey - this probably isn’t the stores fault as I find Quebec in general expensive for craft brews, particularly the bottle deposit. Overall a really good experience and would happily go back.

Selection wasn’t up to Duchesse D’Aiguillon that remains the best selection in Quebec City. However this is the cutest beer store in town. Turn around seems to be a little slow or they have a large storage because I saw some bottles there that I knew were a bit old. I keep up with the quebec beer scene so I know when a brew is fresh or not but less knowledgeable customers may buy bottles that are far from fresh. Very friendly and helpful staff that really want to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible. Prices were just ok, probably a bit more expensive than the average beer store in the province. The place was probably a bank or something in a past life and they have put together a nice display of bottles and glass in the “safe room”. Cute. Overall it was lacking a few micros when I was there so I suggest Duchesse D’Aiguillon for pure selection but due to the slowest turn-around you might find stuff at Le Monde des Bières that are not available anymore at Duchesse D’Aiguillon.

Ca fait la job en criss ce dep. Le boss et les employés sont des vrais connaisseurs. Beaucoup d’espace intérieur. Une voute secrete remplie de verre a biere. Un incontournable de la capitale nationale...

C’est un assé bon magasin de bière, ils ont une bonne variété et pour quelq’un qui reste dans la vieille capitale, c’est sans doute la meilleur place. Je n’ai pas porté attention sur la nouriture, par contre ils ont accet à l’internet.

Nice little bottle shop in the basse-ville section of Quebec city. When coming to town from Montreal, Highway 40 becomes Charest boulevard, and take a left at Marie-de-l’incarnation. It’s a cross between a convenience store and a café, they sell overpriced items like imported pastas and chocolates. Beer selection is pretty good, most Quebec micros are well represented, and they sometimes get oddball rarities you don’t always see in Montreal. The place used to be a bank, and they kept the vault for their glassware and higher end Beers, nice touch. Prices are steep, but not as much as the Dep de la Rive. Enthousiastic staff who seemed to like all of the Beers they have, including turkeys like Brughel. For tourists visiting the city, this may be worth a detour to load up on local stuff.
