scarletfire65 (2), Rockaway Park, New York does not count - explanation | | February 10, 2012 They have a small side room with an average selection of craft beer. Didn’t really find anything that was not mainstream, but they did have a nice line up of Stone. The other 3/4 of the store is cases of macros. On a good note, everything seems to be fresh, I assume they go through their inventory pretty quickly. Prices were in line. | | tgncc (49), Bellmore, New York | | January 7, 2011 The place is really in no man’s land, in an area where it’s a bitch to park. The store itself is fairly clean and well lit. The beers have pricetags on trhem (I HATE it when they don’t). The service was adequate. The selection is good, a lot of unusual beers. The prices on m,any are reasonable, but some were WAY out of line. Obverall decent. If I lived near the place, I’d be there more often. | creedle (1), New York does not count - explanation | | December 17, 2010 [ Updated May 22, 2012 ] not sure how this place exists in its remote location south of queens blvd on grand in the land that time forgot. arguably better than the beer room at WF Bowery. mostly better prices and the selection is close. the owner goes to extreme lengths to get special beers at greater quantities. 7 taps for growlers to go. by far the best beer store in queens. |
