| angrypirate06 (15), Texas | | September 28, 2009 Bman1113vr took me here. Tons of different beer on tap from all over the world. The place was pretty crowded, which was to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. | | LtDan (24), LA - Originally from South NJ!, California | | August 2, 2009 A cool place the draws macro lager swilling flip flop wearing locals, as well as beer snobs, and tourists. When its not super packed, the bar keeps are really nice, when it is packed, you have to order quick. The selection is real nice. Always about 2 dozen crafts, 2 dozen run of the mill imports and 2 dozen macro-ish swills. Something for everyone. The food is above average bar food. The bill has never been outrageous, and they are generous when pouring barleywine. No 8 oz. pours, but up to 20 oz. pours of BW. One of my most favorite places to be. Great beer with an ocean breeze. Everytime I’ve been there, fresh Pliny is being severed. | | beersearcher (12), Glendale, California | | July 17, 2009 Great Beer choices. Magic Hat # 9. Full Sail Grandsun!! Being a beach place the vibe is a little too party-ish. The decor leaves something to be desired and the food is only average. But excellent beer list. | petematte46 (4), Dallas, Texas does not count - explanation | | May 6, 2009 Great place in south Los Angeles. Some hard to find beers and many taps to choose from. | | ajm (161), Los Angeles, California | | April 24, 2009 Very out of the way for LA but worth the drive. Bars on water... there ought to be more. Great beach bar feel, solid food some of which is cheap, went during the IPA fest which was dope but their bottles are very above average independent of that and taps seem to be as well. I would rather go here than Father’s Office any old day of the week. | | can8ianben (67), Pasadena, California | | April 23, 2009 An interesting boardwalk establishment that would never strike me as a beer place except for the MASSIVE number of beers on tap. I went down for the IPA festival - 40 IPAs, and some really cool stuff in the bunch including both Pliny’s, 90 minute, 3 years of Avery Maharaja. Staff was crude bar types - lots of F-this and F-that. Food was decent pub grub, and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed at 3 in the afternoon. One side is fully open to the boardwalk, and there is an annoyingly loud digital jukebox that some couple kept putting money in to play 80s rock and country ballads. Weird place, but exceptional beer selection. | | coharahawk (12), Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | April 19, 2009 I always make a point to visit Naja’s when I have come to SC for visits. I have not noticed the problems with service that others have commented on. I have felt their service was good all the times I’ve been there. There are always MANY beers I want to try on draft when I visit. It’s always a difficult choice. Taps are constantly rotating. They have special events such as the Barleywine Festival where they had some rare finds on tap. The location is amazing and when the front windows are open it feels like you are sitting outside on the marina. If I lived in the area, a lot of my income would be spent at this place. | | BeerandBlues2 (157), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | February 26, 2009 Nice joint on the marina that seems to cater to all tastes. I found the "which beer to I order" decision to be a tough one, but I managed. The bar tender was very knowledgeable about beer and eager to talk, despite being very busy. The food is the only downside, with it being more like bar food than restaurant food. One need not despair as their are literally over a dozen places around them serving all sorts of food. Visit these guys for the beer. | BettyBeach (1), California does not count - explanation | | February 17, 2009 interesting place | ChazMania (9), Pasadena, California does not count - explanation | | February 9, 2009 This is one of my favorite places, especially in warm weather. Their beer selection is usually outstanding and I’ve been able to enjoy many of my all time favorites on tap here. The food menu is small and the beer line can be a long one. There are only a few seats at the bar and sometimes we have waited a long time to get a pour....but it’s usually worth it. On summer days looking out over the marina, this place is so fun. Its raining right now, but I still wish I was there. Have never had a bad time there. |
