| casualcolors (10), , | | April 4, 2012 I hate how much I love this store. As much as this store is to local liquor stores as Walmart is to local retail businesses, I can’t really boycott it just because it’s so damn good. | | Anova167 (17), Manhattan Beach, California | | March 1, 2012 Solid spot, but is a bit quantity over quality. They have some good selections, but they don’t have many truly rare beers. | | MattH (38), California | | September 22, 2011 [ Updated December 2, 2011 ] The best selection of beers in the South Bay. I particularly like the option of being able to buy single 12oz bottles and cans. This allows me to buy a beer for $2 to $4 instead of throwing down $7 to $12 for a six pack. Buying beer this way is a great way to try as many beers as you can and save money. For those who do like to buy six packs they do have a vast selection and better prices for six packs than anywhere else I have shopped in Southern California. They also have a lot of the more expensive specialty beers that come in the 750ml bottles, but I think that Whole Foods in El Segundo has a better selection in this area. I cannot say too much about the customer service as the only time I really interact with any employees is when I am paying for my beer. They do have beer classes here. I am thinking of attending one on September 29. The cost is $15 and you get to try 12 beers. I also heard they feed you. |
