66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20
Compared to some of the other Total Wine locations, the selection here is a bit disappointing. Still, itís bigger than a lot of other bottle shops. The usual Southern California suspects, some imports, and a smattering of beers from other states. Typical Total Wine pricing. Non-existent service other than at the register.

Like another user said "quantity over quality" thats pretty much all your gonna find. Although they do get some nice seasonal and rares but they go rather quick so ur chances on getting something like abyss is very slim. I was able to score Kern 5th so that was awsome (had to ask for it). Lets go to the typical stuff, twice I went...what did I want some typical port, flying dog so I order that...I drove...what happens? order cancelled cause they dont have it...thats the end of that. So there website is completly useless. For the most part I avoid this place and would rather hit up local liquor stores run by beer geeks.

I hate how much I love this store. As much as this store is to local liquor stores as Walmart is to local retail businesses, I canít really boycott it just because itís so damn good.

Solid spot, but is a bit quantity over quality. They have some good selections, but they donít have many truly rare beers.

The best selection of beers in the South Bay. I particularly like the option of being able to buy single 12oz bottles and cans. This allows me to buy a beer for $2 to $4 instead of throwing down $7 to $12 for a six pack. Buying beer this way is a great way to try as many beers as you can and save money. For those who do like to buy six packs they do have a vast selection and better prices for six packs than anywhere else I have shopped in Southern California. They also have a lot of the more expensive specialty beers that come in the 750ml bottles, but I think that Whole Foods in El Segundo has a better selection in this area. I cannot say too much about the customer service as the only time I really interact with any employees is when I am paying for my beer. They do have beer classes here. I am thinking of attending one on September 29. The cost is $15 and you get to try 12 beers. I also heard they feed you.
