Wild Hops

So this beer shop is a bit away from the city center so we took a cab. Entrance is located on the inside of residential complex so it might be difficult to find. Since it was a pre Arrogant Fest the place was quite crowded. Drinking inside and outside the shop was possible, we got the plastic glasses. Beer selection is quite good, several hundred bottles, lots of imports, some local Italians. Some bottles seemed a bit old though. Beer in fridges was just piled up without any order so it took some digging to find a beer we liked. Prices were OK for Italy I guess. Worth checking out if you find yourself in Reggio Emilia.

Tiny shop almost impossibile to find withouth a GPS or proper guidance. Nice ambience with relaxing music. The main attraction are the two huge shelfs filled with bottled beers from all over the world: mainly Belgium, Germany, Uk, Scandinavia and a bit of USA. Surprisingly not many from Italy, but I was happy to find the full lineup of Dada brewery, which is local to Reggio Emilia province. The owner was friendly and enthusiastic chatting a bit, making some suggestions and was kind enough to gift me a small gadget. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay for long (to taste a couple of beers which is possibile to do in the shop) , but this place seemed like a little gem to me! Definitely recommended.
