As far as i have been able to figure, this is the only beer oriented bar in rethymno. They have 6 taps, as well as 29 beers (perhaps a few more). Beers available are mostly the flagship beer from several larger european breweries, such as leffe, gouden carolus, franchiskaner, paulaner, erdinger etc. no greek macro unfortunately, best beer probably aventinus weissbier 8.2%. bar is loaded with all kinds of fun stuff to look at, walls, bar, ceiling and anywhere else is entirely plastered with junk of all sorts. you can sit and watch for hours. Location is tricky, but look in the old town close to the small square with a ruin in the middle of it. or just ask for the irish bar. it’s the only one in town. beer was served in frosted glasses, so don’t expect a whole lot of beer knowledge from the waiters. Anyway - this is the only bar that has more than 5-8 different beers for sale, so you won’t get it any better anway.
