I was the only one in the place on a Saturday night (Easter weekend) at 7:30, which made me a bit nervous. But the place filled up within 10 minutes, and Both the locals and the staff made me feel right at home. Tap list is very solid, bottle list is amll but well chosen. Sean is everything you would ever want in a bartender - friednly, attentive, great suggestions, impressive beer and systems knowledge, an absolute pleasure. This was a birthday selection with my daughter and son. The french fries are extra special. A wider slection of beers then normal. The bartender was discussing the selections with a patron at the bar. I want to go back and sit and try other ales and beers. I had the 2007 Bigfoot and Victory Headwaters. Commercial Taphouse is a neighborhood place with its very own vibe which it sticks to. Can’t remember ever having a service problem. Food’s always decent. Finally got to stop here. Small place, very small. Neighborhood bar feel. Located in an older building, so expect that kind of ambience. Apparently there is an upstairs but I didn’t see it. I hear the food is cheap and good, but didn’t partake. Service was awesome. The usual bartender is a really cool guy. Good tap and bottle list. Prices were reasonable. Parking could be tricky.
