Large selection, similar to their main location. Good prices. 10 minute ride from downtown Richmond along a pleasant route that passes by Legend, for what that’s worth.

I was very pleased with what this store had to offer- great prices, selection, and fun, albeit incredibly awkward location. Next time I am in Richmond i will need to grab some more stuff.

Great place, nice selection, knowledgeable staff. Prices were consistent with what I have seen in most places. I was on business and just checking the non-refrigerated brews and was happy with what I came across to pack in my suitcase! I’ll be back the next time I hit Richmond.

My parents live right up the street so when I am in Richmond this is my go to spot. A huge selection and a huge selection of make your own six pack. Also great bomber selection with some more rare beers. Both the owners are the best! Great shop

Finally got down to this place. Not too far out of town. In a strip mall... parking is not a problem. Nice enough ambience but I couldn’t help but compare it to the neighborhood feel of the other OUAV location. Top notch beer selection. Good selection of glassware. Some fairly rare items. Large selection of wine and a small selection of gourmet foods. Prices are on the high side of reasonable. The employee there was very nice, though he did insist on adding packaging I didn’t want. Lame.

I like this once upon a vine when I am over visiting my parents on the weekends if I need to stop in and grab some beer. I am giving them a bit of a bump on the selection because there is someone there that ages random stock and then puts it out a year or so later. I recently picked up three bombers of stone 11th, yes I know it is sublimely self righteous ale, but at least I have the bottles as keepsakes for that year when I am done. Great store, I am glad we found out about the original location a few years back.

This is the second location of Once Upon A Vine just to the south of Richmond. Very nice selection of beer and even marked with BJCP styles for those who believe in that kinda thing. Large parking lot, never that crowded. The staff here is very friendly, and some are very knowledgable of the selection. Unlike Butters, I prefer this store over the original.

Simply put, I prefer the original store. However, this place does have a great selection and floor layout. There is plenty of space to walk around and look at the vast selection, without feeling too cramped. The staff was very friendly but a little too willing to help me make my selections. Didn’t try any of the food. If you are on the southside, then this is DEFINITELY the place to buy your beer. They also have a great shelf tag system of labeling ’classic’ beer styles for anyone studying for the BJCP.
