| Sevenlee (44), Central Coast, NSW, Australia | | July 29, 2011 [ Updated January 20, 2012 ] I’ve been to many Lidadors around the city and they’re mostly all the same. It’s not accurate to call it a beer store as they mainly focus on wine and spirits but there is a modest selection of import beer. Ambiance is pretty nice, there’s nice wooden floors and wooden shelving and the vibe is nice when they are doing wine tastings. This is one place in Rio where you can expect great service, within moments of walking in the door someone will ask if you need help although their knowledge of beer can be a bit poor. The selection has grown recently and they’re now offering quite a decent selection of new beers, particularly from Belgium and the rest of europe. The value can be great, this is the cheapest place in Rio to buy the likes of Chimay, La Trappe and Schneider Weisse. Overall not bad, it’s not really worth seeking out unless you’re after something a little different or stocking up on your weekly supply of Chimay. |
