80 Now a nice Griffin Claw location. Huge tap list with about 50% ciders?! WTF. Sign of the times I guess. Had a couple flights then settled on a brandy barrel aged marzen- was spectacular beer and a 4 pack of them to go food was solid. |
84 Came here on 8.1.2020. This is actually a brewpub owned by Griffin Claw. Brewhouse is in the right part of the building. You can only see the wooden barrels warehouse. Great beer selection ~60 beers on tap (not only from Griffin Claw): a lot beers from Michigan, a few from California, Wisconsin and NY (Singlecut !!). Very long comortable bar with a Johnny Cash shrine!!! Also the beer coasters display Mr. Johnny Cash. Great decoration and ambiance. Definitely will come back ! |
76 Free dedicated parking lot around d this place. Service was good. Interesting tap beers and bottles. I had the pretzel burger and fries and both were pretty good. Food pricing seemed just above average and beer flights are fairly pricey. I would go back. |
86 Really solid place, with awesome selection. Extensive tap list, and really solid food. Features Michigan and US-heavy (if not only US) beers. Food is decent, but the beers are awesome. Flights are good. Will definitely be returning. |
82 51 taps. For suburban Detroit, that is excellent. Also, Miami burger is definitely NOT heart healthy. Which is to say, tasty. Would have rated ambience higher, but I’m not a sports TV fan. |
88 Stopped in on a Thursday evening. Right off the highway. Dedicated parking. Sat down easily with no wait. Our server was quick and attentive and was fairly knowledgeable. I just ordered a small flight of four beers. They came quickly and were good. The draft selection is excellent and has lots of local stuff. Very cool place. |
96 My favorite place to go out for a couple beers, or to sample a bunch at a reasonable price. Enormous, everchanging selection on tap. Nice, warm, inviting environment. Friendly and prompt waitstaff. The food is pretty good, too. |
86 this place had a cool vibe with lots of great taps and a friendly staff (very pretty women). good vibes, good beer, and very cool atmosphere and decor. didnt eat here but enjoyed some Green Bush drafts that were on after a tap takeover. |
94 Beer selection is epic and always changing. Lots of Michigan brews and a variety of styles with plenty in each category. Food is very good, but overpriced. The beer in general is about $1-2 more per beer than at other places in the area, but I still find myself coming back again and again for the selection and ambiance. My go to bar in the area. |
92 This is my go to beer bar - Good atmosphere and the food is pretty good. But I come here for the beer - Selection is top notch and I have found the bartenders to be very friendly and knowledgeable. By far my favorite place in the area. Highly recommended! |
