If you go to the Football bar you come in here too for food, it has to be done, but this isn’t just about food as the name suggests, the beer is incredible too. It’s more formal than across the road, but you do get to see the range of beers and they seemed to be willing to discuss it with you as well. Great place and great buzz.

The pizza is amazing. Everything is organic, which was cool. Real nice selection of Italian craft beer in bottles. I think like 8 to 10 taps with local craft beers. Great location, friendly staff, this place rocks..

After leaving Ma Che Siete Venuti, we walked by Bir&Fud and I knew I’d be letting down my inner child if I didn’t stop in the join with such a novel name. Turns out the name is on point, as they had plenty of great beer and featured some of the most fair pricing I saw in Rome. Grabbed some uber-rare Cantillon and a couple of De Struise vintages and left smiling widely. The store keeper was very friendly and explained things very well despite his slightly broken English. I will definitely return and see what they have in store.

We came here about an hour or so before they opened for food order, and while we waited the very friendly staff let me buy 100ml tasting samples of some of their the Borgo beers. Delicious pizza and mozzarella cheese. About 15-17 beers on tap added by a fridge with bottles that could be consumed on the spot or taken way. The beer menu is displayed at a board on the opposite side of the bar. Nice little patio outside. Narrow entrance, but it opens up towards the rear end of the room. Popular place that became quite busy during this particular Friday evening. Bir&Fud in the Trastevere area of Roma gave a very positive impression with tasty ales, good food and eminent service (visited 30.03.2012).

Solid offerings on tap and on the bottle list. Unfortunately, i was never there late enough (after 7:30) to get any food, which disappointed me, but is more of a cultural difference than a problem with the place. Great space and kind staff, but I enjoyed my experience across the street a bit more.

Great food with Italian beers, which is the real reason I was drinking in Rome. Pizza and Mozzarella with roasted veggies were amazing. Tap list was impressive, not as impressive as Ma Che, though. The bottle collection seemed even more interesting, actually, though I only tried a couple that Manuele opened (both amazing). An absolute must for trying Italian beers paired with great food.

il fatto è questo...è situato n uno dei punti piu belli di roma, offre molte birre di qualità e tutti sono molto disponibili...risultato? un ottimo locale che chiaramente si fa pagare...ma non poco!
