Walked here from Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà, the neighbourhood in between isn’t the best. Closed stores, some houses that seems abandoned, not the best walk when it gets dark, but we managed to get to 4:20 without any problem. Modern nightclub feel. Good tap selection with the local dominated by Revelation Cat and also good selection of foreign beers, but European and American.

Disappointment, and quite frankly not worth the effort of trekking out there. Sterile corporate atmosphere. Mostly Revelation Cat brews, and they’re not very well made. Other beers were boring, of no real interest to a serious beer drinker. The service was good, but we left quickly and didn’t come back. Not even remotely world class - there wasn’t a single beer worth the journey on that list.

Visited during our visit to Rome. We made our way to this bar after our visit to Ma Che Siete. About 15 minute walk but through an industrial area so maybe not the best suggestion in the evening unless you know the area. The outside looks like this is going to be your local dive bar however once inside you get a very modern looking bar and seating area with an upstairs to boot. They have about 35+ taps of various locals and worldly favorites. The staff was helpful and friendly allowing us to taste a couple before making our decision. You can get half or full pours of anything they had. Nice bottle selection as well that looked to be quite current. We didn’t try their food but the selection was typical pub fare that many of the locals seemed to be enjoying. The crowd was younger than Ma Che Siete but still had a great ambiance and place to enjoy great beer in Rome. They also offered a nice selection of wines and liquors for the non beer drinkers in the group. Overall, another great beer bar that is more new school than old school but lives up to its rating on service, selection, and cost. Will be visiting again the next time I’m in Rome. A must visit beer bar for the beer nerd.

I visited this place just once and late in the night after a good session so my memories are a bit " blurred " ... I really enjoiyed my last drink ( rev cat ) standing at the bar .. The selection would be incredible if all the beers was on but unfortunately it’s not .. Anyway a very very good place to visit still but it doesn’t have the Macche vibe ..

One of the best beer bars in Europe. Great selection of rare beers, nice food, good service. A little bit expensive in rare beers, but it might be worth it.

Very nice place full of locals and far from the crowded touristic routes. Amazing number of taps (not all working) and great decoration with lupulus everywhere. Nice music and good food I suppose. Didn’t taste it but it’s number 1 in Italy. The guy that served us knew what he was doing and gave us what we were looking for. Great place!!

Quite away out of the beaten track if you are staying on the other side of the river in the city center. But tram line 8 from Piazza Venezia stops a 1 block / 10 minutes walk from 4:20 and makes it easy going there. The bar is very nice and cozy with good ambiance, seating along the bar, and some smal tables, chairs, and a few couches along the other wall. About 22 taps on at our visit, 6 Revelation Cat, 5 from the (for me unknown) Japanese brewery Se Kadoia, De Molen, Schlenkerla, De Molen, Boon, Brewdog, etc.Impressive bottle list, expecially the vintage sours (not that i had any of these, going from 50 - 150 €) Good, freindly and knowable service wich speaks a good english. We didnt eat but the food looked tasty. Good value on the tap beers. Great place

73 taps? Maybe, but only 20 of them were in use, of which 4 were not available. So only 16 beers on tap during my visit. Service and atmosphere were good, but as some said before, I exspected a bit more.
