80 This was the shop in our neighborhood so we paid it a visit several evenings in a row. It’s a rather small place, but you can drink inside or on a stool in front of the store. Three taps, Italian micros if I recall correctly. Really good selection of bottles, there should be around 400 of them. Italian micros, UK, USA, Belgian, Scandinavian really diverse selection. Service was good, the guy working there recommended some nice brews. I guess there are better bottle shops in town, but if you’re nearby this one will do pretty good. |
82 Almost next door to Trattoria Epiro and extremely close to Il Maltese pub, this beer shop is probably the smallest I’ve ever visited. Three or four persons inside, and you can’t move. But for such a limited place, the bottle selection is actually brilliant. Two big fridges and many wooden shelves with plenty to choose from all over the world. Obviously Italy, but also UK, Denmark, USA, Belgium and Germany. Some little gems too, which I had never seen anywhere else in Rome. There are also three taps (as far as I remember, only one was on when I visited) and just like many other Italian shops, you can open a bottle and drink it on site. Pretty great service, the guy working there was friendly and enthusiastic talking about beer, certainly knew his stuff and was kind enough to give me a small free sample from the tap while I was looking through the bottles. Average prices for Rome. A big thumbs up from me. |
96 Ottimo locale dove trovare birre artigianali per tutti i gusti, più qualche chicca di alto livello. Personale gentilissimo e competente. Ha anche 3 spine, unico fra tutti i Gradi Plato. |
96 the best gradi plato in Rome! |
