Nice bar and restaurent. The place both has a big crowded room and little rooms with small tables for more privacy. Very good service; I was particularly impresseed by the waiter - He remebered which beers I had already had and gave me advice accordingly. Nice burgers with an Italian touch if you order the right ones.

A tribute to the wonderful and ever evolving world of italian beer. Always packed, and for a reason, but the otherwise very competent service can suffer a bit from it. The selection is great, the food is beyond excellent, although everything has always seemed a bit expensive to me.

IL n°1 dei locali di questo genere ...! a Roma non ha eguali, per me tra la selezione di birre e il cibo sapientemente preparato è il posto x l’apoteosi e ogni senso e gusto verrà soddisfatto !!

Uno dei miei posti preferiti a Roma! Come già evidenziato da molti... incredibile scelta di birra sia alla spina che in bottiglia. Il cibo veramente di qualità anche se troppo costoso! Vi consiglio di prenotare nelle salette vintage carinissime e comode :)

First of all; the service at this particular place was just amazing, easily the best service I have had so far visiting beer bars in Europe. I could buy as many Italian 100ml samples as I was able to drink at the time. The Italian-Danish waitress did an exceptional and knowledgeable job giving me tasters of suggested beers, and was very eager to know my opinion of them. The selection of Italian craft beers was overwhelming added by a few guest ales from the British Isles, USA and Belgium, as well as a few bottled beers to takeaway. I gave up counting all the taps, but according to the useful Italian blog romadabere there should be about 45 operating taps. The place could best be described as a retro, high ceiling café when it comes to design and interior decoration. The first thing you notice when entering Open Baladin is the stunning beer wall behind the counter. Good food, chicken Caesar salad, too. No wine offerings at this place. To be perfect they need to improve the toilet facilities. Anyway, Open Baladin appeared as a very complete beer destination, even playing the right kind of music from Animals, Tom Waits, Led Zeppelin, Smiths and Doors. Frau Eva and I visited the place from 14.00 until about 17.00 on a Saturday afternoon which seemed to be the right time for joyful drinking, eating and rating (visited, 31.03.2012).

One of the best spaces for a beer bar that I’ve yet to encounter. Tons of room inside with an EPIC bottle display and range of taps. I can’t believe they had so many of their own offerings on tap. The place was dead when I was there, but the staff was more than helpful and I had a great time. Not to be missed while in Rome.
