| theOptimator (23), Sacramento, California | | December 8, 2011 Ambiance sucks here. Full of idiot bay area reject Roseville yuppie scum........ buying wine....... WRETCH. Service sucks... no one here knows anything about beer. Selection is great. Best beer selection of any store in the Sac area. Vastly superior to Bevmo. TW&M is better than Bevmo like Bevmo is better than 7-11. The beers are priced on par with Bevmo, but better selection. So that makes it a great value. Overall, I hate going here, but when I get bored with Bevmo I go anyway. | | drinkwell (11), , | | November 28, 2011 Excellent location to get a great variety of brews. Wines too, but we’re on here for the beer. | | JohnnyJ (94), San Diego, California | | August 22, 2010 Decent place to buy beer. As stated previously, very similar to BevMo, but a little bit nicer and a bit more selection. Pricing is average. | | Oscbert (11), Sacramento, California | | April 29, 2010 Nice selection of warm kept beers. It is like a nicer BevMo. I think the prices are a tad lower than BevMo also. | | marcus (128), Sacramento, California | | December 2, 2009 This is a warehouse-like spirits store that stocks mostly wine. However, there is also a long aisle stocked with most of the beers that are available in Northern California. They don’t always have some of the more esoteric and rare beers, but one can almost always find something good. | | Gypsy19 (11), California | | September 21, 2009 [ Updated November 25, 2009 ] Like Beverages & More!, but bigger, with a better selection. Very decent selection of singles from American craft brewers. The Belgian section was just equal to Beverages & More!. The prices are noticeably better than BevMo, therefore making this my store of choice in the Sacramento area, even though it is way out in BFE. The staff is very friendly and eager to help, but are clueless and have only a rudimentary knowledge of beers, if any at all. You won’t find any super-rarities here, but for the Sacramento area, this place is still the best. | | fidel (67), Livermore, California | | September 19, 2009 [ Updated September 20, 2009 ] Huge place with the best selection of singles of any store. 2 of the 3 bottles I have had so far seemed like they were old(oxidized). | | DYCSoccer17 (244), Woodland, California | | February 22, 2009 I visited this place yesterday. This is a large store, which is similar to BevMo--except it is much more pretentious. The employees are all huddled in the large wine department. The beer selection is really scattered in a few aisles in the rear left of the store. They have a bit better selection than BevMo, including Cantillon and a few other Euro beers. Prices are fair. Decent place, but I likely won’t go out of my way to visit this place again. By the way, they no longer have Alesmith. Here’s a .pdf of their beer list:

| | stoad (21), laguna niguel, California | | December 27, 2008 Great selection of US micro 22 oz bottles & 12 oz singles. I found a few things that I haven’t found elsewhere in CA like Boulder Brewing. Much larger beer selections than the BevMos in Sacto or Roseville. The build your own 6-pack cartons are a nice touch. Quite a few of their bottle prices are much lower than BevMo’s.
| | beerguy101 (69), Newark, California | | May 16, 2008 I really hope this place does REALLY good. I want a store closer than 100+ miles away from me. The BevMo on Steroids comment is very fitting. They have a very large beer selection, with nearly 200 or so beer that you can get as singles, it looked like they just break a six pack and put the singles on the shelf. The selection is mostly US stuff and then mostly west coast micros. A nice selection of Belgian, English and German beers as well. The prices were really good on most of the beers. The place is spotlessly clean and well staffed. The checkout girl really love Avery 15.Worth the drive to Roseville. |
