Joes is an interesting place. Probably the best thing it has going for it is the ambiance, being next to the Sacramento River is really cool. The service is usually somewhat slow, but the wait staff is friendly and upbeat. The mixed drinks are good, but usually very weak. I personally love the Shark Bite drink, order one and you’ll know why! The beer selection is decent. Food is mostly seafood. There are some dishes that are good, but mostly just different arrangements of the same fish/ shell fish.

No clue why this shitty place is polluting Ratebeer. Bud, Coors, Miller, Corona, and maybe a tap of stale Sierra Nevada or Lagunitas, if you’re lucky. Otherwise, horrific long waits, and generic chain food.

Really neat place for lunch or dinner. Overlooks the river. Food is good, beer selection is decent and mixed drinks are good. Service usually isn’t quick because this place is seemingly always busy, but it is good and the servers are usually always friendly and attentive.
