Beer store located in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu... Been selling craft beers (amongst others) since Savage Garden were popular (or something like that), so I’m surprised to see there are no ratings at all. While I can’t name all the guys that works there, I know that at least 2 of them pretty much drank all the stuff that they have. What you’ll find here is mainly Quebec craftbrews, Quebec macro-craftbrews (for a lack of a better word -- think Boréale), macro-brews and SOME imports (the stuff you’ll normally find in some convenience stores, like the Newcastle and the Biburger), but the craft brews makes it totally worth it. They had some custom craftbrews from La Barberie a few years ago (Pale Ale aux Petits Fruits and Bière Brune forte), which were both blasts AND the best stuff the Barberie ever sold. The only reason why they lose points is purely due to some stupid beer import reglementation. They seem to often have tasting sessions as well. If "comparing" is allowed, well, it compares advantageously with the Marché Jovi in Hull. It’s in Les Halles St-Jean, but you can also enter via rue Gregoire (but due to ridiculously small parking lot, les Halles St-Jean might be a better idea if you have to buy some fish, ham, cheese or veggies to consume with your beer).
