9 reviews for Microbrasserie Dieu du Ciel
(136e rating d’établissement) | | punkska101 (22), Chambly, Quebec | | August 21, 2009 Ugly place from the outside, the interior is better. The service the day is want was really slow we were 10 no more. The beer selection was the same than the one offered in bottle. I would like to have seen unregular beer just like at the Montreal location. You can see the brewery from the tasting room. The food selection is small but good. Way more relaxing then the original pub. | | flx (10), Quebec | | June 21, 2009 An old IGA converted to brewery. Ambiance is chill and relax. Beer selection is very good and those are almost always awesome. A must to visit in St-Jérôme for beer amateur. | | MartinT (348), Montreal, Quebec | | June 1, 2009 Not much of a looker from the outside, DDC’s microbrewery taproom manages to be comfortable on the inside with its bric-a-brac furniture and windows onto the microbrewery. The food menu is slightly more developed than the Montreal brewpub’s. The panini with prosciutto and fig jam I had was delicious. The beer selection is mostly based on what they bottle, so don’t come here expecting to find rarities. But if you are complaining about the selection here (all DDC high quality brews), you are one spoiled beer geek that needs a reality check. | | Poperinge (119), Cowtown, Alberta | | March 29, 2009 [ Updated October 3, 2009 ] More light than the downtown brewpub, like the fact you get to s see all the posters from their house artist, got to sit with some of the brewers and the owner. Same great selection of beer and better food than the DT location. | | presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | March 15, 2009 Better food selection, fewer beers on tap and a brighter environment than the Montreal location. ENGLISH: Great place but not as mythical then in Montréal. Not the same choice or ambiance but many great beers available, for sure. | | Goldorak (110), Montreal, Quebec | | March 23, 2008 I think this place used to be a grocery store, from the overall look of the building. Huge brewing/bottling installations in the back, looks great. The pub section itself has similarities to the original, with the same chairs and tables, in a more open area with a big window overlooking the street. Lineup consisted of the 6 available bottled brews (on tap) and two others, including Païenne. Service was good, ambiance was similar and food was better than the original pub, although less crowded. A must stop for all going up to Tremblant. | | Quevillon (139), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec | | February 8, 2008 [ Updated October 2, 2008 ] Visited for the first time on 2/8/08, one week after it’s official opening. To note this is their brewerie and bottleling plant, so you won’t get all their line up like at the brepub in Montreal. It may not be the ultimat beer destination in Quebec, but it is in the Laurentians, if you are in the region, they have the same opening hours as the Mtl brewpub (3 PM). The pub it self is a bit biger, more spacious then the original one, but lest taps (10 vs 18 at Mtl). Their is a nice view of the brewerie & bottleling line via some big windows and they will have a patio right in front of the building. The place has a bit of the same sensation has the original. It is a nice set up. Good work DDC! |
