Biggest choice of beers in Croatia, AFAIK.
Sometimes completely filled with tobacco smoke, sometimes you have to wait a long time for waiter.

Bar in the center of Samobor town. Nice ambiance, has got three different rooms where you can enjoy your beer. Pleasant atmosphere, although crowded and noisy, still, we have been there at Saturday night. We had mostly hard rock music which was really fine for me. In the corridor at the entrance there is a fridge with beers currently offered and some special beers exibited on the wall, among which are many retired local beers, beers from freaky rare countries (Tajikistan and similar) etc. Beer selection is great, specially interested to me as it had some very limited local beers which I couldn’t find even in small areas of their distribution. Includes lot of Belgian and German beers, too and all of that at very acceptable prices. Food not applicable. Can get quite smoky in there on this winter days. Guess ventilation is not working very well, or maybe they turn it off. In my opinion, the best pub in Croatia. Not sure about the correct number of beers (the beer list / the price list and the actual beers aren’t "synchronized"), but it’s close. I’m also not sure about some of those characteristics, and the working hours on regular days (lost because my mobile phone battery ran out). No food I know of, Polite and friently staff, got served immediately (ok, so the pub wasn’t even half full), great ambiance (I’m a Flogging Molly fan, so I thought the music was great), stunning selection (for Croatia). Some rare regional beers. A must visit if there. |
