| Terminus (233), Las Cruces, New Mexico | | April 7, 2012 A very decent place to have some beers if your in the area. however, i thought that their TX lineup was lacking compared to the Garland, TX location. THey did have a few rare/notworthy selections though, so that made it all the better. Bartender was very friendly and i would definatley go back if im in this area. | | SudsMcDuff (112), .....Manchester United.........., Texas | | April 7, 2012 Pretty nice Saucer.. . fairly helpful bartenders, waitresses were a bit better .. . tap selection is on the lower side of saucers but happy to see a good dose of locals on tap, even though were out of about 4-5 things i tried to order on tap .. . nice little patio.. . a good solid Saucer! | | Caytinator (25), Kaiserslautern, Germany | | March 5, 2012 I like to meet friends here when I’m in San Antonio (only on weekdays). It’s a strip mall bar with a good beer selection and a weird mixture of people drinking arrogant bastard and corona or heineken. Average service - place gets CROWDED and sometimes people are rude here. Value is pretty good, I think. Like all saucers, I think of 3 beers I want before ordering, because they’re probably out of two of them. | | fata2683 (125), Tucson, Arizona | | June 18, 2011 a friend brought me here for a few beers and I’m glad she did. Texas is well represented and there are plenty of other options as well. We did not eat here, but the food at the other tables looked decent. Good service and prices were good to slightly high. | | n2pux (13), Houston, Texas | | February 7, 2011 Good representation of the FS theme. Solid selection, reasonable priced (mostly). Good service. Decent grub. Pretty good atmosphere. Worth a stop whilst in SA. | | TheRealMGD (54), Lakewood, Washington | | December 23, 2010 [ Updated September 5, 2011 ] A great outside area but the layout inside could be better. Excellent selection of bottles, trending to European beers, and great selection of handles. Very surprised to see DFH90’ on tap - and it was fresh! Beer knowledge was marginal, but I didn’t chat with the bartenders. Fairly dear for SA, but there is value-added here in the way of sports on flat and big screens. A bit out of the way but worth the trip for ale lovers. | | legion242 (101), Richardson, Texas | | May 24, 2010 One of the better physical layouts for a Saucer- nice patio. Great selection for San Antonio- probably the best in the city. | tenchiro (8), Providence, Rhode Island does not count - explanation | | May 23, 2010 A huge selection of beers, very busy and very noisy and wait staff than can only be explained as Hooters for Suicide Girls although jst as creepy. | lawman834 (3), Georgia does not count - explanation | | May 4, 2010 A nice place. A little on the loud side, but not too bad. The food tastes pretty good, but the menu is pretty tiny. The service is average but most of the servers are pretty easy on the eyes. they have something like 400 beers, so the selection is pretty decent. Being SA, I couldn’t believe that 75% weren’t Shiner ;) I’m trying to get in alot of different samples and going to these kinds of places while traveling on business helps. It is what you would expect, a regional chain with pub grub. | | BarZigKin (29), San Antonio, Texas | | March 21, 2010 This is a pretty good Saucer location. Service and food was much better than any other location I’ve been to. Their tap list doesn’t take many chances, but, it’s as varied a selection as your likely to find in SA (still a BMC kind of town). 100% smoke-free inside encourages me to come back often and stay longer. |
