A nice stop on the North side of town, and gotta love that brewery smell as you eat the Hillbilly Cheese Steak. Good beers with some non-standard offerings. Service was ok.

Great brewpub in SATX. They make a nice selection of beers including several interesting experimental ones. Food is excellent as is the service. A must visit for beer geeks if you are in SATX.

Big roomy seating area with plenty of TVs running sports. 8 beers on tap with extra guest taps and cooler of bombers to go. I tried 7, was hit or miss, the hits were good. The manager was super friendly, and wait staff was hustling. A great place to bring a big group. Brick oven pizza.

Visited October 2011.
It was about time too. I had been getting their bottles from trading partners for a while and had heard all this great stuff about them. Itís kind of on the edge of town but itís nice in that itís not in a large strip mall. Parking is really easy. I like the big windmill outside and what was really cool were the bats flying around. Sitting outside at night you can see them all over the place, at least until they all migrate to Mexico for the winter. The vibe is somewhat college-y but still nice. They had a lot of house beers on including some experimental stuff like the Spirulina Wit, several sours, and a smoked chile beer. Some were good, some were not. They also do a bunch of new IPAs if youíre into that sort of thing. The food was pretty good though the prices were a bit high. I got a cool shirt out of the trip too. Thanks for that.

This is an OK place, they donít seem to have anything that I couldnít brew myself. Service is slow (not sure of the knowledge, didnít ask many questions). dont think iI would come here on my own, only if someone else wanted/suggested

This place is part of an out lot in a big retail complex. Plenty of parking once you find it. They had several of their own beers on tap, but most were low power lighter offerings. There were some guest taps and an entire list of sour beers for people who like that sort of thing. Good sandwiches and very good fancy pizzas. I wish they had a broader range of styles beyond the sours.

This was visited while at an AOPD annual meeting. The executive diretor joined me for beer and pizza. The food was excellent. The waitress was most helpful She answered my many questions. The place must have good food. We noticed people with infants there just eating and not drinking the beers. This was a memorable stop at a great location off 1604. The Old bat Rastard was one of our favorites

They had a wide variety of different types of beers, even a few sours. Every beer I had was really good. Food was not bad either. I would definitely go back.

Top rated brewery so I went to see what was up. Nice large space with plenty of seating inside and out. Staff was friendly and the beer was pretty good. Pizza was excellent but a little pricey. Beer was pricey too. Overall, a nice place to visit.

I was recently in SA for 3 nights and spent 2 of them here, if that tells you anything. Great staff, excellent house brews, and dynamite pizza. You can take bottles/growlers home since this is a brew pub. A must stop if even in the area.
