K&B looks really cool with their floor to ceiling wood bookcases full of liquor and a small tasting room in the front. From a beer perspective I was underwhelmed as they not only didn’t have any special bottles but they were out of a lot of the stuff I would consider "staples" at any bottle shop. Additionally, the tasting room was busy and the people were pretty rude and pushy. Maybe I caught this place on an off night but with Clem’s and Bottlecraft nearby, I probably won’t go back.

A nice little bar/restaurant attached to an extensive bottle shop. Good but not exceptional bottle selection, though they do some cool events with great tap selections. Not a bad stop considering the other KnB places are about the worst beer places you can imagine.

Nice store right next to Windmill Farm. Really nice selection of brews. Some beers are available as singles. Prces aren’t too bad. Most certainly .They have over 30 taps too, so you can often try some great guest beers from breweries that we don’t always see in SD.

A great place to buy a bottle or have a beer on draft in San Diego / La Mesa. More times than not they have one of the best tap lists in San Diego, and that’s a bold statement. Staff is really cool and very helpful. Some of the bottle prices are a little steep, worth checking out for sure!

KnB has a pretty impressive selection of the top beers. I was surprised to find some stuff here (Coton) that had long since sold out at other shops. I think they pull bottles out of their cellar from time to time to surprise their customers. Adam and Tony know their stuff and get their share of all the releases. The food here is pretty good. They have over 30 taps too, so you can often try some great guest beers from breweries that we don’t always see in SD.

Great bottle and tap selection. Have not had the food but am told it is very good. Nice patio to have a beer before or after bottle shopping.

problem with overcharging and some high prices left me a bit bothered, but upon inspection there were also some great deals to be had. not the mecca of the east that some make it out to be, but a good place if you want a beer and not have to be surrounded by beer nerds.

So this place has really changed. I went in today and was surprised to see a wide assortment of craft beers including Consecration and a range of other interesting beers. Pricing was high on somethings but lower relatively on others. I got to talking to the owner and beer manager Adam and he told me about his grand plans in about 6 weeks to have an on site license and 15 high quality taps. The space right now is a major step up from Del Ciero Liquors and the selection is 10 to 20 fold better. Also currently serving breakfast. Check this place out!!
