| bmerz (61), New York | | March 27, 2012 Their own beer list was a little lackluster though better than average for a brew pub. Better than average kind of described everything about it actually. It is a typical brew pub vibe. It is very spacious, open, good for parties, or work related outings. A decent stop if you are downtown. The food is reasonably priced and a little better than average pub food. | | Frank (50), Chicago, Illinois | | March 22, 2012 This is a pretty nice brewpub. Their taplist though is pretty limited even for their own brews. The menu is pretty standard but the food is good. I ordered a cubano and it was fairly tasty and the fries were very good. The coolest thing about this place is the building itself. It’s big, open room w/ exposed beams and an open kitchen where you can see the food be prepared. This is worth a stop for sure but not really a place to plan your San Francisco beer tourism around. | | TEJA (36), Stockholm, Sweden | | March 16, 2012 Was there the week after S.F. Beer Week. Crowded untill 9 p.m. when alot of the people droped off. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Knowledgeble bartenders aboute their own beer. Had a fresh daily meny that I didn’t sample at resonable prices. I’ll defenatly go here the next time I’m in S.F. | | Ferfie (11), Edmonton, Alberta | | February 19, 2012 Awesome brewery/pub while visiting during beer week and strong beer month. Awesome variety and quality on tap and just really cool staff that were fun to chat with. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | January 21, 2012 Decided to take a nice sobering walk from Union Market our first night in town. Nice looking brewpub from both exterior and interior. Lots of brick and wood. Bar up front with more of a traditional restaurant in back. Place was packed and service was lacking a little. 6 or so house brews and a few guest taps. House beers were solid, but what made this place stick out was the food. They offer both typical bar food with a couple of nice entrees. Wings were good and so was the Mediterranean pizza we had. Right down the street from AT&T Ball Park. Worth a stop. | | BOLTZ7555 (56), Phoenix, Arizona | | January 1, 2012 Great little place with a fantastic selection of their own brews. Lots of unique offerings different than their canned line-up. Really solid food as well, upscale and better than your typical pub fair. Very open. Wood beamed ceilings and stainless throughout. Beautiful building, great beer, good grub...what else are you looking for? | | arkurzynski (58), West Bend, Wisconsin | | December 2, 2011 Popped in right before a Giants game. Pretty neat looking place. Was very crowded, obviously. Service was a little slow due to this, which I can’t blame them. Tap selection was okay, with mostly offerings that are available non-tap. Didn’t try the food. Wouldn’t necessarily seek out again if back in the area, though. | | bernatbeer (66), barcelona, Spain | | August 2, 2011 buen brewpub, con comedor no demasiado grande.Estuve durante el aniversario,así que fue todo una fiesta con barbacoa. | | badhack (14), San Jose, California | | July 10, 2011 Nice place, wooden type decor that reminded me of Western style restaurants (no longhorns though lol). Nice staff and the burgers are great. An okay selection of beers but I noticed that some beers like the Brew Free or Die IPA weren’t available on tap?!? and they were serving cans. | | scooterling (10), S. San Francisco, California | | May 13, 2011 Been coming here regularly for a couple of years. Not too much to say except the beers are fantastic. My fave is the 21st Amendment IPA which is their house beer. The drawback is that they are usually out of it on tap. Went there today and the ONLY IPA was a guest brew from Stone in San Diego. Drank the English Mild (I think) instead.
Food menu is great, but a tad pricey. As for food, I’m a huge fan of the Jerk Chicken. Their pizzas are fantastic as well. Check out the blackboard for specials.
One thing that would be nice would be to see their beers served as Imperial pints instead of standard pints for $6. A few blocks away is Thirsty Bear and they do Imperial pints for the same price.
I prefer the food here though. I’m drinking 21st’s IPA as I write this. Belch.
