Near the Rogue Public House, which also sells beers to go. Coit Liquor is mostly a wine store but offers a decent selection of the better California beers. The service was great, and the bottle of Napa red wine they recommended was delicious.

Nice little ’corner’ fine wine and beer store located near the Coit tower in downtown San Francisco. The store is mostly dedicated to wine but they have decent beer selection going on. I picked up 2 Firestone 11’s!, some Hair of the dog brews, Hopsickle, and some Anderson Valley Brother David’s recommended by the resident beer expert Jon. Noticed a lot of other nice west coast beers like Russian River, Anchor, Speakeasy, Deschutes and a selection of belgians and other imports. Jon was really enthusiastic about getting new beers in and scribbled down some notes when I mentioned a few I was interested in. So I was under the impression they were beefing up a bit. He also mentioned that they ship beers, which is very cool. Tough to find parking but worth checking out!
