| TEJA (36), Stockholm, Sweden | | March 16, 2012 The lager microbrewery.
But still the lagers arn’t as good as the Germans or the Tjeck lagers. Fast service (we were the 3:rd party in the morning) and a good selection of food. The view from the resturant is good with just one street between us and the San Fransisco bay. | | seymour (37), Saint Louis, Missouri | | November 9, 2011 Cool location near the water, under the bridge supports. Good beer, not crazy or creative, but always numerous historical styles to sample. Good food. Servers are friendly and helpful, even if they aren’t very beer-wise. Vibe is nice, fairly high-end and swanky, but not uncomfortably so. This is one of the first brew-pubs I encountered, when it was new, in the earlier days of the craft beer movement. I’ve been back several times, and it’s nostalgic, but I’ve learned that I prefer the more casual, rough-hewn type of brew-pubs. Check it out for yourself. | mwidmann (8), California does not count - explanation | | April 27, 2011 Good beers, seasonals are worth trying. Expensive food for the quality. Has more of a restaurant feel than a brewpub | | douglas88 (117), Salt Lake City, Utah | | April 3, 2010 A nice location right by the bay. Good service, and good food. 6 beers on tap. A large upscale eatery with a brewery really. Decent beers, better food and a nice location. | | Sledutah (151), Utah | | April 1, 2010 Nice atmosphere. Full bar, good food. Food prices are alittle on the high side for you get. Beer is good, quality and price. | | digitalczech (13), California | | March 25, 2010 It’s your typical Gorden Biersch. They do this Gastro Brewpub concept well. The food is great. It’s clean and nice. The service is usually really good. And their 4 or 5 beers are very drinkable. | | pennywhistle (12), California | | March 5, 2010 Eh. I’m not a huge fan of the beers, and the place ends up feeling like I crashed a frat party. Their "variety" of beers all end up tasting mostly the same. I do, however, appreciate the option to get taste/sample-sized beers. | | bnselby (11), San Francisco, California | | August 16, 2008 Not bad. I don’t love GB beers, but this place is an acceptable American brewpub. | | AgentSteve (77), SF Bay Area, California | | January 27, 2008 Not a big fan of GB beers, but they are better fresh from the source, and the food was far above most other brew houses. The best hamburger I have had in my life! Decent service, although a bit pricey. | | Bradrcr (16), Renton, Washington | | June 15, 2007 Go here for dinner, not for the beer. The worst educated staff I’ve ever seen. Description of Marzen: Amber Ale. Description of the Porter: Dark Lager. I would be embarassed as a manager. Fortunately, always enjoy the food, and the staff is nice for being so ill-informed. |
