Upstairs from Steep Brews, and as is fairly typical they have a pretty nice selection of local and international beers. They even had six bottles of Schaerbeekse Kriek on the shelves for $37.99, and some Golden Blend as well. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area; prices not quite up to City Beer standards, but better than most anyplace else.

wow, this place gets a very high rating for a ’whole’. this location has by far the biggest selection of any whole foods i’ve seen, anywhere. puts a lot beer stores to shame, and puts comp to healthy spirits. honestly. multiple selections from 3 font, jp, hitachino, russian river($19!), brewdog, ballast point, plenty of abyss in stock, full iconoclast series, grant teton reserve line, roches, de proef, orval, the list goes on and on. found several beers that i didn’t find at healthy spirits, city beer or bevmo. and the prices are fantastic, much better than the other places around. while not quite on the level of the specialty stores, the selection really did blow me away! lots of limited realeases, even had lion imperial pilsner!

I find the PH location has a regularly stocked shelf of a lot of beers I’m after (European Lagers & Pilsners mainly, plus American versions) and the fella with the beard who tends to work the area is knowledgeable and willing to help when you’re looking for something in particular. I’ve asked about a few things not in the shelf (Lagunitas Pilsner comes to mind) and he managed to get it for a short while. They regularly have a good selection of sale items as well which is never a bad thing.
