Small little vegan restaurant with an unbelievable draft list. I didnít eat anything on this trip but I have a feeling that I may return here in the future. The people that are run this place and friendly and really knowledgeable about their beer. The owner just installed a brand new wooden bar and it looks fantastic. Really sociable people and I got to be honest, If lived in San Jose I would be here 3 times a week. Love what these guys are doing at this place. Now I have to start looking at the Sharks schedule so I have an excuse to come back here!

Why is this place not #1 in San Jose?
I dropped in twice in a week. Had some hummus and chips. The tap list was insane, bottle list was even better, tons of out of stock things, brewery only beers. Staff was super cool and like after an hour Iím hanging out with 5 strangers, sipping some dudeís home-brew and getting invited to a lambic tasting. I was here for 4 hours one day and it passed like 30 minutes. Really a chill spot with a staff that knows a ton about beer.

Oh man, why do you have to be vegan? So much potential here (given the beer selection) but itís freakin garbage vegan food. Remember when The Old Depot tried that? And remember when they abandoned it? Itís like communism, it doesnít work. Beyond that, the service was incredibly slow as there were just two girls working and doing all the order taking, beer pouring, bussing, and cooking. So given that there were only two people that also had to the cooking it wasnít terrible but it still took way longer than it should have to get a beer. Now, with the complaints out of the way Iíll say that I was very impressed by the lineup. I went with a Lagunitas Fusion 18 which is a hoppy oatwine (seems that I need to add it here). I also got a little splash of the Drakes Abominably Jolly White IPA. I knew better than to order the Matilda Lambicus (had it once before and didnít care for it) but it was neat to see on the board. In the fridge I spotted some Westvleteren bottles (unlabeled), some Bruery Reserve Society-only bottles, and half a dozen variants of Eclipse. Iíll be stopping back in at some point for sure, just not on a Sunday afternoon.

May have the most interesting selection in downtown San Jose, competes well with OG just across the street, and always has better prices. Service is good, but the vegetarian fare is not for me. But you can stop by just for beer, and hang out on the patio in front in good weather.

Stopped in here for a Abbey Quad after sausage and beer a OG I liked what I saw and I will have to try the food next time.

Awesome vegan restaurant in downtown San Jose. I came here for lunch on a weekday and it was pretty crowded with local business people. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite seeming a bit scattered. Basically you order your food at the counter and then find a seat somewhere and they bring you your food. I had a burrito, and it was very good. The beer list is simply outstanding. I think there were close to 20 beers on tap and they are all stand outs. At least a couple sours and barrel aged beers when I was there. I was impressed by the diversity of the tap list as well. Somebody really knows there stuff here. They offer flights of 5 or 10 of anything on draft. There are some nicely selected bottles for sale as well including a couple berliner weisse. The price is a little steep, but worth it IMO. I will return when Iím back in the area.

Good Karma has always been a bit underrated in my opinion. Itís a vegan deli style eatery that has unbelievable beers on draft and in bottle. Ryan (the owner) is probably San Joseís black horse in the bar game, but donít be fooled, this is probably the only place youíll see get the rarest of the rare kegs. Beers like Lagunitas Waldo, Russian River Pliny the Younger, and a variety of barrel aged beers. Truly and amazing spot with a passionate owner. Iím not a huge fan of the food however, but that doesnít stop me from coming here. A great San Jose gem.

Wow, this place is truly tiny! Very eclectic ambiance. Deli style vegitarian food that is actually quite good and a 15 tap list that is constantly changing, plus maybe 20 bottles . A good amount of impressive taps here and a great place to go for a quick one over lunch. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beer.
