Smaller BevMo connected strangely to a CVS. Lots of unrefrigerated hoppy stuff. Saw some Bootleggers, Grand Teton, and Big Sky beers along with usual suspects. Nothing really caught my eye. Lots of beer was collecting dust. Wouldnít be my go to beer place. Weird ciders in stock.

This place is pretty funny from the outside. When you walk in the front door there are actually two more doorways and a stair case. On the left is a Bevmo with a fairly mediocre selection and on the right is a CVS pharmacy. The Bevmo has the usual stuff like Stone, Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, etc as well as some more local breweries like Bootleggers. If youíre in the immediate area theyíll have some good beers for you but if youíre looking for something specific then there are better places around. Prices are reasonable as they are at most Bevmos.

Weird set up with a shared entrance to the CVS next door. Beer section seemed kind of sparse. Some local stuff like Bootleggers and Strand, but otherwise the typical beers that can be found at almost any Southern California BevMo. Coolers looked particularly barren and there were a number of dusty bottles sitting on the shelves.

Very new BevMo on the westside. Much better selection than the smaller one on Santa Monica Blvd. Also a better selection than the one in Encino. Saw some bottles I havenít seen before around here. Large and overall good selection. Some sakes too as well as about 7 or 8 meads as well as La Face Premiere (ice cider). They also sell styroshippers (which the one in Westwood does not do). Nice staff. Underground parking. A better BevMo.

For a BevMo, this is a very clean, well-stocked store. Itís never too crowded and there are often good enough deals to get me to buy something that I hadnít intended on purchasing.

Typical BevMo, but Iíve been waiting forever for a store to open on the Westside. Struck up a pleasant conversation with the beer guy who seemed genuinely interested in what I look for in a beer store. Had a great time at the grand opening chatting it up with the Stone rep.
