| RedSox2004 (12), Pacific Palisades, California | | January 30, 2009 [ Updated June 12, 2009 ] Good selection of Belgian singles. Definitely a wine store, but they seem to take their beer seriously as well. Now that I think about it, I don’t remember seeing any macros. I’ll be back.
Re-rate: I went back, and the guy working the counter led me into the storage room where he uncovered a case of HOTD Adam that just came in. Time to revise my service rating. | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | July 8, 2008 [ Updated July 22, 2008 ] Went in there today after hearing about it on the other site. Its a big, high quality wine store that also has a decent beer and liquor selection. Beer was pretty decent, lots of Belgians, some French, and a few locals. Picked up a bottle of Stone 10 (which is pretty hard to find on the shelves currently). The real good thing about this store, for the LA Area, is that they have a couple craft ciders/perrys that I haven’t tried before. I picked up Bordelet Sidre Brut TENDRE, as well as Manoir du Parc Authentic Poire. They also have a Mead I haven’t had before (Warenghem Chouchen). They also have a killer Sake selection (but I have already had every style on the site, and was trying to keep the bill low). Prices are a bit on the high side of things. |
