| joet (68), Fulton, California | | June 15, 2010 Good selection often with more of certain beers here than elsewhere in town. For whatever reason, the selection is not at all as fine as Zach’s at Bottle Barn. A couple bad points is that they don’t do singles, are a bit on the expensive side and staff can’t answer some craft beer and availability questions. That all said, it’s a pretty solid place to get beer. | hoptripper (1), does not count - explanation | | April 13, 2010 It appears that the Santa Rosa Bevmo has taken a turn for the better. Last time I visited the craft beer selection had improved drastically, and according to a staff member there was more coming in weekly. Clean store, and employees were eager to help point out new arrivals. definitely worth checking out | | iowaherkeye (28), Ocean Beach, San Diego, California | | September 25, 2008 Stopped by here yesterday after work. It seems to be quite typical of most BevMo’s, though it had less of a Selection than the one I stopped in in Sacramento. They did have the uber-rare Deschutes Dissident, but nothing else seemed to stick out. They still have a boatload of CA brews, but quite a bit of their stock is @ room temp on the shelves. I think there were only two employees working when I went in, neither of which made eye contact with me, but I didn’t necessarily need any help. Bottle Barn is much better (and closer) to me at this point, has better pricesDissident was about a dollar cheaper at Bottle Barnand is a lot closer, so I’ll do my shopping there. However, I did notice BevMo! has Maui Brewing, where Bottle Barn does not. |
