Online order. Fred is not only informative but a great help in narrowing down his vast selection of beers for order. Super fast shipment, friendly service, great selection of beer. What more can you ask for? Not only will I order from here again but I hope to someday visit his brick and mortar store.

Easy stop on the way to and from Alpine if you’re coming from the direction of civilization. Nice selection with mostly decent prices. He’ll also have gray market type beers that do not see California like Expedition Stout but those will be marked up quite a bit. He gets a lot of hate from some of the beer nerds but I think his store is worth a look.

All you need to know is that if its available in California, they usually have it available and the dude behind the counter knows his stuff. Unremarkable atmosphere does not detract from the fact that the clerk is very knowledgeable and does not mind to share and explain great brews.

Came to Freddies shop straight from the airport. Could not have been more impressed and satisfied with the selection, prices, Freddie’s service and knowledge - all awesome! I wish I could have hung out a lot longer, but since I am from NY my time in SoCal was short and there are so many beery things to get done. Home Brew malts looked great as well. Definitely a must stop location for anyone looking for top notch selection, especially if you need to have your items shipped. Can’t wait to get back here. Cheers!

I live in NY and it’s tough to find the hard-to-get beers from the west coast. I spoke to the owner, Freddie, about putting in some orders together for me. I threw out a few beers that I was looking for which he had. But he took it up a few notches and suggested beers that he was getting soon or ones he thought I would want based on what I was looking for. This place has an enormous selection of beers. You can find anything you want and if it’s not there, Freddie will do everything he can to get it for you. It’s not just about getting beer at this place but more of a long distance relationship for me haha. I’ll be ordering from here from now on and I’ll tell my friends in NY about this place as well. There’s NO other place that can ship Pliny The Elder as fresh as what you can get from here. Cheers to the best beer distributor in the country in my opinion.

Online order. Beverages 4 less has a great revolving selection of standard and quite rare and unusual beers. Fred was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely order from him again and stop by when I go to San Diego again. Excellent.

Friendly atmosphere, the owner is a great guy! Didn’t expect it to be a homebrew shop as well, but they had some decent equipment, and I even got to sample some of the owner’s homebrew (which was pretty solid for sure). Very welcoming, great selection of beers, with quite a few locals that I do not see up in Los Angeles. Prices were quite fair. A good amount of rarity as well. Worth the stop!

This place is a bit off the beaten track, but is worth the drive if you are anywhere near San Diego. There is a great selection of local and other craft beers, as well as good Belgian and Scandinavian imports. Fred, the owner, will offer you a taste of his excellent home brew if you pass the " beer geek " test. He also ships, so check his always up-to-date website. Allow some time to chat with Fred and enjoy your stop.
