A nice selection for such a small town. Very helpful. A bit more pricey compared to the Supervalue down the street.

Clean well organized place with a nice selection.

The Soo is a wasteland for good beer, but the locals all go to the corner store. A handful of Founders, Bells and Shorts beers along with some Stone and Laguinitas bottles, usually some Ayinger Celebrator as well. Staff is usually fairly helpful, though don;t think about bringing empties back you didn;t buy from here. I graded this on a scale - compared with anything else in the Soo area this is world class. Prices are very competive considering the store has virtually no competition!

A few years ago, in 2006, I thought this store was pretty awesome. It had a nice range of Jolly Pumpkin, along with other regional Michigan micros. Now, the selection seems to have dwindled significantly. The best I could find was some of the recent Shorts 12oz bottles. The prices are fair. There are singles, the selection isn’t that great. However, this is the best you’ll do in Sault Ste Marie, that’s for sure.
