Much more of a bar than a brewpub (only 2 "house beers" on tap). No brewing equipment on site. Very large space. Service was decent but uninvolved. Parking was easy. Food was pub grub and decent. To-go bottle selection was good as was the tap list.

Great bottle selection, and the best tap selection in AZ usually.

A dive bar without the cool character. Big tap list with lots of bottles. Good service and we didnít eat. For me the problem is the dark dive like ambiance. There are too many good places in the area now,

Stopped in here after O.H.S.O. since they were so close together, I have had a few Papago beers before, I was really looking forward to checking them out. Atmosphere is kind of disjoined but still good. You have the front seating area, the bottle shop to the left, another dining area in a different room off to the left and then the bar area in the rear of the space. More and more people came in as my visit wore on, making it feel more together. Service was solid. I never had to wait for a beer and he was awesome to tall to. Selection was great. Five of their own beers on with a great verity of others crossing lots of different styles. As I had just eaten I skipped the food but the pizza looked great sitting a few people away from me. Prices were pretty good, some of the bottles to go were a little high but if I strike out in the next few weeks I may return to pick some up. Overall a really nice bar/brewery that I would definitely return to in the future, maybe even the near future.

We visited this brewpub the first time on 27.12.2013. Large room with a nice and unique table arrangement, one very long table separating the room in two halves. Nice interior, many metal signs from local and international breweries. They have around 30 beers on tap, whereof 5 are from their own brewery (beers are contract brewed by Huss brewing, hence not a real brewpub). We had the IPA, a vanilla orange Weissbier, two stouts and a Belgium style beer (this one we liked most). Their own beers were all above average. Great selection of draft guest beers - Ska Brewing, Green Flash, Bear Republic and many more. In addition they have quite a few refrigerators filled with great mainly regional bottles. Food was also good, we had a Pizza and a pita wrap. Service very friendly and attentive. We met many nice local people during the 4 evenings we visited the Pub. Overall a really good beer experience, we will definitely come back.

Great spot in S. Scottsdale. Everyone is friendly and generally knowledgeable. Food is decent, though not outstanding. Selection is above average - you can usually find something lurking in the cooler that you havenít seen in awhile. Prices are good on most items, especially if youíre staying onsite. Love than I could drink an Expedition Stout on premise for under $5. This was my favorite place to get good beer when I lived in PHX in í09. Glad to see itís still a good place to get good brews.

Papago, a great old school brewpub, with long communal tables made of old posts, 1980s feel, close to 30 taps with 4 of their own, plentiful pub grub, and good service.

Great selection but not really a great place to hang out. Itís more like a beer store with some tables and a bar. Location in a strip mall attracts small, locals only crowd, with few women.

Visited 3/4/2011 for Ratebeer Winter Gathering.

Located in a strip mall, I was greeted by a bouncer checking IDís. Inside there arenít a whole lot of seats but it wasnít a problem. Along the one wall is a row of fridges full of beer. Nice selection of things from all over. But Iíd say I was more impressed with the tap lineup. There were at least half a dozen Papago beers on tap (contracted by other breweries) as well as some oddball beers that I really wanted to try (namely the one year lambic from Bockor) but were out of. I guess the night before was Moylans night so they had some left overs on tap from that.

The server came by pretty often (every 15 minutes or so) and asked if we wanted anything else. The owner of the place came by and talked with us for a little bit. Great service all around.

For all the beer I had I didnt really pay that much. Good times. Iíll be returning the next time Iím in the area.
