When I come to Seattle, I stay near the stadiums. I stopped by here after seeing’s Geoff’s review - and am happy to report that there is a decent beer shop in SoDo, and also very close to the SoDo link stop - two things that are great for me. Selection is pretty limited, but everything is available by the single. Good amount of Washington locals, as well as other crafts. This is certainly not on the level of other local bottle shops, but if you are in this neghborhood with limited transportation, its a great option. People were super nice and friendly.

This now seems to be my closest bottle shop after moving to N. Beacon Hill. Located down near the stadium, Esquin has a solid beer selection. It doesn’t have the variety of local staples that many places have, but it carries quite a few imports and interesting US craft beers. Recently found that they were selling 2006 vintage HOTD Doggie Claws for $4.50 awesome. Great wine shop, decent beer shop. Not much else for bottle shops in this part of town, so it can be very convenient.
