| CheersMate (132), Fremont (Seattle), Washington | | November 25, 2011 I will say this, the other reviewer is quite correct in his evaluation, that is - this PCC doesn’t exactly have the best selection, but I’ve wandered in here a few times where they’ve had some nice surprises, e.g., the Oakshire Hellshire II is something that I saw today; albeit it was $!6, but I paid that much at The Beer Junction. ANYWAYS, in Fremont you’re left with a few choices: 1.) You can head to Bottleworks which is really close. 2.) You can head to Brouwers and not carry anything home. 3.) You can go to the QFC at University Village or off of 45th, but if you’re looking for something that packs a punch, IN Fremont, this is a relatively decent place to go. I wish their selection rotated a little more than it does, but what can a guy do? Overall, I’d give it what score I gave it, but if I had to give it a grade C+. Oh, wait a few things to note before you go here: 1.) You have to buy in to the co-op to get the discount(s). 2.) The service is actually pretty good. 3.) The food is market-like food. 4.) If you pass PCC on your right, and the water is on your left, head straight about a 1/4 mile to park, because you won’t find it close by. | | bhensonb (375), Woodland, California | | January 15, 2011 The selection is very good. Varied. But it’s not so huge as many of the PCCs in So. Oregon have, nor did I find rare HOTDs like I did in So. Oregon. Still I think I found a couple of beers I didn’t see in stores with more beers. Worth a stop. |
