Very small bar, but lets just say that I love this place. The service was amazing, and so was the selection. They had jar fills, growler fills, and take home bottles. My brother got a boot of beer, and my brother and my other friend got a Pliny The Elder in a bottle. I got a Hop 15 on tap which was awesome. Being from Georgia we don’t see many if any place like this. An awesome bar. The locals were nice, and the bartender was really cool. I must say this has to be my favorite place.

Small, well-structured, compact interior. Ridiculous tap list, wide array of bottles, this is all known. I actually didn’t even drink anything when I visited, just chatted up the bartender for a while and took a look through their book. So while I can’t comment on quality of their glassware or something like infected lines, I doubt that sort of thing is ever a problem. These guys have their shit together for sure.

Can’t believe I lived a mile away from this place for a year before I decided to check it out. It is small with interesting decor and an indoor fire- I like it. Definitely a nice intimate spot for a couple or small group. Not as many taps as Brouwer’s or even Naked City, but what they do have is always awesome. I’ve had exceptional and mediocre service there, depending on who’s pouring (I don’t recall it ever being annoyingly busy though, a surprising plus for a place that small).

Really tiny, but new bar with intriguing albeit kitschy artwork. Not the hugest tap or bottle selection but what they got is tight. Especially the tap selection. Some crazy and rare beers like NB le terrior. Definitely worth checking out as long as you don’t have a lot of people. Can fit maybe 25 people in there. You can have food delivered there.

Classic watering hole with an outstanding beer list, some rare Belgians and large range of Northwest brews, including some off menu rarities. Great service, fascinating and friendly clientele. No food, but try the Cuban sandwiches just down the street or St Andrews directly across. Or just drink beer.

For my first ever place rating, I decided it should be Uber; since this is a place that I frequent. I first noticed Uber driving by on my way home from work when I couldn’t miss the neon stubbie bottle sign. Upon walking up the the front door, you are greeted by a very nice and covered patio on the sidewalk that is a great place to step out and enjoy some fresh air with your beer. Inside, you realize that it is quite small, but clean with a good vibe and LOTS of beer. Three coolers that are floor to almost ceiling loaded with bottles and 15+ beers on tap. Selection of both bottles and draft offer not only NW goodies but also rare brews, both import and domestic. The draft selection rotates quite often with only 3-5 of the beers being regular house beers. Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful in assisting if you are having problems deciding. All bottles and draft can be purchase to go and although they don’t have a kitchen, you can bring anything you would like in or have food delivered.

Cool, kind of cramped bar in a nondescript neighborhood in northern Seattle. Not so far from Bottleworks, Brouwer’s, or two of the Elysian pubs, so lots of local stuff to hit up. Solid draft selection when we stopped by, including Elysian’s Great Pumpkin and New Belgium’s Le Terroir, but this was for a special event and the bottle list was pretty underwhelming overall. Cool place, but didn’t really hit me as nearly as much as a destination as something like Brouwer’s.

Nice quaint spot with space that can be cramped with about a dozen patrons. Great tap selection of hard to get craft brews. The Walking Man – Walking Stick Stout caught my eye and seduced my palate. Took away a mason jar of it to go too. That’s a very nice feature. Nugget (Colin) behind the bar was fantastic. Terrific experience. I’ll have to go back for sure during my next visit to the area. As far as I’m concerned this is a must visit for any traveling beer geek.
