| fata2683 (125), Tucson, Arizona | | June 18, 2011 I spent 2 months in the Shreveport area and managed to find this place, thank god. Decent sized bar with the best selection of beer I found in the area. Nola, Abita, St Arnold and Lazy Magnolia taps with a bunch of bottles both domestic and imports. One downside is everything, EVERYTHING is poured into a frosted pint glass. The Nola Blond I had also had a case of the funk and I imagine the taps were the culprit. Worth seeking out as this area is pretty bleak. The buffalo wild wings in town has a Nola and Abita beer or two, but the selection here is better. Hopefully it improves with time. | monkeytail (2), , Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | March 15, 2009 random location. not bad though. smokey. okay beer selection. lots of abita brews. saw some trappists and british beers. | | AmEricanbrew (78), roam, Louisiana | | November 1, 2007 Located in an old warehouse building a couple miles south of the casinos in Shreveport. A small tap selection includes Abita’s and Sam Adams seasonal beers. about 50-60 bottles includes some Jolly Pumpkins, Troegs, Rogue, Pyramid with a few Belgians and quality British beers. Has a smokey bar scene atmosphere, and is loud when crowded on the weekends. Darts, and other games will help pass the time here. The only food here is pub mix snacks. One of less than a handfull of bars in the area to sell craft beers. |
