Visited here in August 2007 just to take on a few beers in the Windmill - didn’t do the tour. Great setting and fairly busy around the bar. Had a few different Batemans offerings whilst I was there and took a few bottles for the train home. The kind of place to take your non beer other half to !

My parents live only 12 miles away from here, so I’ve been many times over the last few years since they moved there. Lovely set up: the bar area is in the base of the famous ’windmill’ and the dining/event room is connected down a small slope. Always at least 5 cask Batemans beers available and the food is fine too. There is an outside drinking area as well: back inside there is a shop for Batemans ’bits’ like t-shirts, glasses and bottles, etc, etc. Even been to a beer festival there a few years back: I love going and often have my Sunday lunch there.

An excellent day out with an interesting tour around the Brewery and a relaxing afternoon sampling all the beers. They also profess to own the worlds biggest bottled beer collection, it was pretty impressive.
