82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 luttonm (96) Belgrade, Serbia | March 18, 2013 Fantastic bar period, with lovely waitstaff, attentive service and nice beer-oriented food. Selection for this part of the world is well above average, prices are reasonable. Fun place to spend an evening.. even if you don’t find something new (though there are some random Czech and Bulgarian beers to see) you will find an old tasty classic (Bernardus Abt 12, yes of course). A happy place | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 15/20 Travlr (999) Washington, Washington DC | March 28, 2012 Solid selection of local beers in a sunny and open location. There is no shortage of bars in Sofia, but this is top notch. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 12/20 villevav (67) , Finland | June 9, 2011 Nice selection of brews from Middle Europe. Beer list and menu in English. Has lots of Bulgarian beers, on tap and bottled. Domestic beers at about one leva (or fifty cents) per glass, which is possibly the cheapest in Europe. The Erdinger range is the most expensive at 5 leva.
If you’re not up to the Bulgarian beers, there is Bishops Finger, Efes, Grolsch and Leffe.
Try the dark domestic beers. |
