Good range of Marstons beers, several served from the jug. Interesting place with many nooks and crannies, even a full-size snooker table in one! Rather quiet in the early evening.

Historic back street local, several rooms served from bar in corridor, pub on this site since the 14th century. Real ales on handpump plus Marstons Pedigree from the jug. Excellent home cooked lunches, reservations taken for their popular Sunday lunch. Ten minutes from Junction 25 of the M1.
