Great little place. Didn’t know it existed until I found it on Ratebeer. Has a college bar type feel, but had a little bit of an older crowd tonight (Wed night). Pretty good little blues/rock bland playing. Food was pretty decent - had the fish & chips - huge piece of cod. Beer selection was very good, especially for Springfield - not sure the exact numbers but quite a few on tap plus just as many bottles.

Decent beer bar in downtown Springfield. Large open bar area with plenty of seating. Probably 50 or so taps with an emphasis on US regional beers. Service at the bar was good. Did not try the food. I would go back here if ever in Springfield again.

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening before the band started. The selection of beers was excellent. Lots of taps and bottles. Food was typical bar food, service was decent. Staff knew their beer and we enjoyed a few beers at happy hour prices.

Went here in the middle of the week. It was still pretty crowded though. Seemed to have a really good beer selection, with really fair prices on most taps. They were out of a couple of taps that were listed on their menu. Didn’t try the food. Service was decent. I enjoyed it.

everyone loves the PA pub. Happy hour all day on sunday,Half price american taps and apps. They’ve opened up the back room and it’s a great place to hang out. Trivia on sunday evenings if you’re into thinking.

This is one of my favorite places to drink in Springfield. They have an excellent selection of beer on tap and in bottles, and on weeknights and afternoons, the ambience is very nice for sampling all manner of beer. It gets busy on weekend nights, though, as the liv music usually brings in a generous crowd.

The best draft beer selection that I’ve seen in MO. StB Tripel was a highlight that I remember off hand. Lots of wannabe hippies. There was a good sized crowd, and a loud band. Great big booths the would easily hold 8 people. Right across the street from Hickocks and a short walk from Springfield Brewing.

Probably the best beer selection in Southwest Missouri, with loads of stuff on tap and in the bottle. Always a couple of surprises. Haven’t tried the food. One downside IMO is that is gets crowded on weekends, as the kids come in to see live bands. Afternoons might be the best time if you just want to try a few beers.
