| jandd1983 (87), Florissant, Missouri | | August 31, 2011 A decent selection of some items, but lacking in other areas. Service was good, although you can pretty well go through the beer aisles in a few minutes. Prices are a little higher, due to the lower volumes of beer. If you are in the area, definitely worth the trip. You never know what may be on the shelves. | MissouriBrent (2), Missouri does not count - explanation | | June 25, 2010 Very good place for hard to find beers. They carry things you have to drive another 15-20 miles to get. If they don;t have it, they can get it. | flickjac (1), St. charles, Missouri does not count - explanation | | January 12, 2009 Definately not the norm for liquor stores. Prices are a little higher than usual, however the selection is quite vast. A large selection of 5L German mini kegs, and a large selection of Belgian’s by the bottle or 4 pack. Bring your pocketbook, you’ll need it for a trip here. | | MrBunn (67), Western, Pennsylvania | | July 14, 2008 Wow! What a dive. Looks like a Quickie Mart in the rough area of town from the inside... on the outside it looks like a cheap booze store in a strip mall. Still, they had an interesting selection of imports and the like, but not really anything too fun. A bunch of oddities from different countries (picked up bottles from Ukraine, Latvia and Lithuania) and some lambics and the like that may still be on the shelves in ten years. | | esjaygee (204), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | March 21, 2008 Strip mall location, run of the mill store. Decent selection of belgian beers and many single serve foreign beers. Decent collection of domestic beers though not that mnay offerred as single serve options. A little pricey compared to other stores I have been to recently. | beerman79 (2), Ofallon, Missouri does not count - explanation | | August 24, 2006 Could have a monopoly on anything not AB in the area but not enough micro brews | | barleyPops (65), Quad-Cities, Illinois | | December 30, 2004 The only liquor store in about a three state area that carried an Italian liquor. I had been searching for months and this place carries it on a regular basis. The beer selection was quite good but not outstanding. While I did not see many micros, their selecion of German, English and Belgian beers was very good. They have a decent selection of singles, both warm and cold. The only negative I found was that they do not split up six-packs. |
